December 31, 2021 - This can still age for a while , tannins are still pronounced. Decanted for 3 hours . Darker fruit flavors.

June 30, 2018 - My last bottle. In a really good place. Black fruit, strawberry, mint, cassis, a touch of herbal. The tannins have really softened with a smooth, long finish. Should hold for quite a few more years, not sure if it will get any better, but really good now.

April 14, 2018 - For the ~$70 I paid, this wine really punches above it's weight. Agree with other tasting notes on the unctuous-ness of it and the wonderful bouquet.

Definitely requires a decant (I went for 3 hours) as it is throwing sediment like crazy. Tannins seem mostly resolved, which surprised me for what is still a pretty young wine. Drink now or hold, no need to wait.

December 2, 2017 - Drank beautifully. Softened up over last year. Bursting with fruit. BlackBerry, strawberry, a bit of mint and cassis. Could easily sit another 5 years. Dynamite cab.

October 10, 2017 - An unctuous wine. Deep ruby red color and dark fruit on the nose. An herbatious intensity that is big in the mouth feel. A wonderful wine that will endure years of cellars and will reward those who are patient. Glad I have 5 more bottles.

December 28, 2016 - Slow Ox'd for 2 hours, served at 68-70 degrees. Great balance of fruit and tannins. Pleasant structure with coated mouthfeel, chewy with good grip. Dark fruit dominates taste followed by 40+ second finish. Definitely better than 2010 but not quite there with 2009.
