July 18, 2023 - Opened for two hours prior to consumption The nose was red fruit. The palate dark cherry, plums, currants and a hint of allspice. A moderate to long finish. A very nice wine. Served with oven roasted salmon.

December 25, 2021 - Drinking quite well now. Notes of red cherry, toast, sandlewood, saline and some tasty chocolate on the finish. A delicious pairing with the herbal, roast rack of lamb. Too bad this is no longer made.

A gift from the P4 group.

November 27, 2021 - Excellent with the Thanksgiving dinner. Balanced, smooth, not too fruity, beautiful light tannis, excellent in all dimensions.

September 11, 2020 - Bordeaux 2015 blinds night at Bishan. Intermission drinks. Tasted blind. Drank in Gabriel Standart.
Appearance is clear, medium intensity, purplish ruby colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, pronounced intensity dropping a little to medium+ as it is swirled in glass. Initial burst of soaring sweet perfume, sandalwood, coastal saline minerality, dark red cherries. Developed.
On the palate, dry, high acidity, high alcohol (14.9%), medium tannins, medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of smoke, toast wood, sweet red cherries, sweet spices, caramel, sweet earth and saline minerality. Long finish.
Excellent quality. Unabashedly New World Pinot. Awesome nose, and impressive that the palate is quite measured despite the high alcohol. Oak is present and adds rather than subtracts to the experience. I like it. Drinking well now already. I was guessing Sonoma Coast Pinot 2010-2012 age range.
Fruit from the Halberg and Wayfarer vineyards. First vintage made by new winemaker Bibiana Gonzalez-Rave.
