November 24, 2022 - Shutdown, medicinal, turned. Hugely disappointing.
October 12, 2021 - This is an aged, mellow pinot. No longer fruit forward but rather with preserved, currant like aromatics. Think dark purple fruits. On the palate those aromatics come through in flavor, coating your mouth in unctuous delight.
Not a light pinot but a mature, graceful beauty. The drinking window seems right so please enjoy!
November 28, 2020 - Wow, was this good once it opened up. Well built, not sweet, beautiful light red color, slightly sour, tasted very sonoma coast. This still has plenty of time.
October 27, 2020 - At first was a bit sedate but then opened up with the fruit coming out . Love Selyem!
June 21, 2020 - My favorite Pinot by far. Deep flavor and not too sweet. Very robust and smooth aftertaste. A little tart but not overpowering.
January 21, 2019 - Great notes of cherry. In a nice spot.
July 6, 2018 - Vibrant cherry nose. I love the fact that a really good wine takes the sting out of really bad news.
The cherry theme follows on the taste and though the finish is a bit short there is a decadent sweetness and light body that turned “just a glass each” into draining the bottle.
April 17, 2018 - This is one of WS's bigger Pinots. Full bodied, with lots of fruit.
October 25, 2017 - Mature, balanced.
June 24, 2017 - No formal notes. Excellent with lasagna at Giant.
