September 25, 2019 - PnP. Medium red. Lovely nose of red fruits and blood orange. Much of less of the over-oaked cola smells that W-S RRV Pinots often have to my palate. Relatively light on the palate but with nice balance and a reprise of the red fruits and citrus (blood orange) flavors. This seems much more Peay than W-S, less wine maker driven and more vineyard specific. Very nice at age 7.

August 25, 2019 - Oh my... subtle aroma, delicate layers of that fabulous peat fruit. Drinking beautifully

June 1, 2019 - Bit of an earthy nose. Fabulous flavor. Very smooth.

April 2, 2019 - Enjoyable CA Pinot and more Pinot like than the typical WS. Nice finish and delineation.

March 9, 2019 - After a rough week my wife insisted on “something good” from the cellar, and she was delighted with a perfectly aged Peay.
I wasn’t as knocked-out as some other reviews here. Maybe my pallete is a little off tonight.
It’s a good wine but lacks distinction, like a pop song with one good hook and the rest is Color-by-Numbers (insert guest rapper here).
With time, I was hoping the Bob Cabral wines would be the equal of Burt’s. I have yet to see proof.
Nose of cranberry and plum, smooth entry and mouthfeel - no hard edges. Vanilla and anise compliment the cran/cherry/plum flavors.
A well made wine but not a memorable one.
