January 8, 2022 - Every bit as delicious as I remembered from the previous bottle. And those notes still hold as well. Nice with spicy fried chicken.

January 13, 2019 - This disappeared in a flash. Floral and mineral nose, good body, delicious citrus, and a tart/sweet medium length finish.

May 19, 2017 - I'm not a huge fan of Gewurtz, but this was a good bottle. All the floral notes while staying dry and not being cloying. Too many are flabby and this is definitely not in that category. Little peach and tangerine to go with the flowers. Finishes a bit bitter. Low acidity, but it seems appropriate to the wine rather than a negative.

January 27, 2017 - The best Gewurz in CA? I think it's close. Certainly in the top 5. Served with a jerk pork rib dish, this just killed it. And, if I'm being honest, it was finished in pretty much record time. This (12,5%abv) is gulpable, refreshing on a grand scale, and very correct to the variety, something that CA is wont to to with non-native grapes. Only a whisper of sweetness on this; a good distance away from off-dry. This has substance, complexity, and balance. No kidding, I went online and bought a mixed case, straightaway. Larry's wines are honest, correct and balanced enough for an old AFWE like me to say, booyah!, I want more. (In all honesty, I've tried so, so many 'takes' on Gewurz from CA that I'd pretty much given up, but Larry gets it. He gets it, real good. Buy. Now. SUCH a good food wine; yowzers! recommended

    SnP, served non-blind.

August 18, 2015 - Very tasty white, though not one of my favorite Outliers.

June 28, 2015 - Another good showing from this wine, but clearly not up to the level of the other Tercero 2013 whites that I've tried lately (Grenache Blanc, Viognier, and Verbiage Blanc). Says more about the quality of these others than the Outlier, which is very good.

April 24, 2015 - Amazing. Just a tiny hint of sugar while the aromatics and lychee bring it all together. Perfect balance, even I'd prefer it even more dry.

March 18, 2015 - Unnumbered March 2015 PDH Berserkerfest (PDH): Unscrewed and poured, then closed after about three hours and brought home and retasted after two days without refrigeration. Very interesting wine. characteristic lychee nuts and some spice, but the roughness often found in Alsatian Gewurztraminer was missing, replaced by a floral component like a good light Riesling. Light and easy to drink but with plenty of flavor and complexity. Delicious.

February 20, 2015 - Pale straw with aromas and flavors of tropical fruit, melon, white flowers and green apples. The wine is off-dry (almost demi-sec) with a medium-length finish. Well-done, but I've never been a big fan of this varietal.
