July 14, 2019 - This somewhat older Walker Hill Chard remains as bright as the day it was bottled. This was our last bottle. I see there are still about five cases out there in community holdings, and would suggest this vintage still has some time left. We'll offer 2021. Dan's magic wins again!

April 17, 2017 - This Walker Hill Chard was our white served at Easter Dinner. Very light and crisp, well worthy of a holiday dinner.

March 3, 2017 - i thought this was wonderful ... better (or at least more complex and elegant than '13 or '14 both of which i had recently). we had with a 'snack-like' dinner with salad, crackers, humus and home-made veggie burgers with cheese. the wine stood out the bottle was gone between the two of us (not common at dinner)

October 19, 2016 - Quite a delightful Char. It is creamy but not overly oaky. Paired excellently with lentil curry, clams with garlic and white wine, and a steamed whole fish.

February 26, 2016 - While Dutton Goldfield's Rued Chard seems to get most of the attention and awards, their Walker Hill Chard is really excellent as well. We paired it with homemade rigatoni with Meyer lemon, Pecorino Romano cheese, and Calabrian pepper - and we both thought it was a great match.

June 12, 2015 - for me, not quite the mouthful of fun that i always find in a Rued, but another DG chardonnay that i think would surprise most ... i enjoyed it and will look forward to the next one
