February 1, 2021 - Decent. Simple and easy to drink.

January 20, 2020 - Lighter, more elegant compared to the 2003, again with notes of lavender, herbs and light red fruit. The tannins are still marked and there’s a few years left to maturity. Wait a few years.

October 29, 2018 - I'm surprised Cellartracker hasn't been kinder to this wine. It's a dead ringer for good Chateauneuf du Pape. It's aging quite well, showing plenty of dried figs and tobacco as well as plummy fruit and spice. Tannins remain serious. I recommend drinking now.

July 29, 2018 - I've had mixed feelings about Saint-Cosme over the years, but what I've learned is that the wines (Gigondas) age quite well. This is no exception. Compared to the 2004 Pesquier, this has more stuffing, it's probably slightly more extracted but there's also some funky/earthy notes that makes this interesting. The fruit is darker compared to the Pesquier, there's lavender notes in spades. Clearly a more polished wine, but I like it with my grilled brochette d'agneau.

January 21, 2018 - Excellent wine that is drinking perfectly now. It tastes similar to good Chateauneuf du Pape, but a little brighter and lighter (in a good way). Aromas of figs, raspberries, cigar box, and black olive. Smooth, chocolatey mouthfeel with silky tannins.
