October 10, 2020 - This syrah, like most of the Calcareous Syrah is on the blueberry side of the Tar-Blueberry spectrum. Great wine. Needed a double decant to soften, but lovely stuff.

May 17, 2020 - Another great Calcareous wine. The red fruit on the aroma and taste is fabulous. It just strikes you right on opening. Full body, but not a fruit bomb by any means.

December 26, 2019 - It can be confusing, but the one I stased was the Devils Canyon. Outstanding. Some syrahs are marked by smoke and tar, others by blueberry and cocoa. This is the latter and was just superb.

December 14, 2017 - Fabulous Paso Syrah. Drinking well now, but will age. Great black fruit flavors.
