July 21, 2020 - That’s a pretty good wine. It’s delicate with subtle fruit. Leans more to the earthy side. I’d have no problem buying this again.

October 2, 2018 - Translucent light burgundy color. Nose black cherries, light nail polish and marzipan, some earthy forest floor. Palate slightly woody black cherries, good depth on palate with some earthy notes, bright cherry acidity, strongly chalky tannins on finish. On day 2, more pronounced fruity depth on palate as well as some floral/violet notes.
Still seems young yet, would wait for more resolution of the tannins; not sure why CT lists drink by 2017, but would think this could go easily a few years more at least. 91 pts1 person found this helpful Comment
