July 2, 2019 - David Wainwright's Big Birthday Celebration with Friends & Wine (1243 Bourgogne Society - Beaune): Fleshy and rich but seemingly very backward and clunky, most likely at an awkward stage, given so much great material here. Probably would have benefited from more air tonight. Not as good as I recall from when tasted shortly after release.

December 2, 2016 - Better structured than I recall, this nonetheless lacks a degree of cohesiveness to my palate that better examples of BM can provide. Bright yellow fruit provides a high level of lift to the nose and palate.

February 28, 2015 - La Paulée de New York Grand Tasting (Metropolitan Pavilion - New York NY): Tasting, brief note. Lush aromatic start with lots of ripe apple, some citrus peel with some new oak protruding today. More restrained flavors with more citrus and apple with well structured finish.
