December 21, 2020 - Decanted 2+ hours. It has been over 4 years since last tasting this vintage. The wine has matured and you are really seeing the potential come through. Beautiful nose, wonderful juice. A really good Bordeaux style wine. Drinking nicely but still has lot's of life left if cellared properly.

December 13, 2020 - This wine continues to drink very well. Decanted 3 hours, notes of dark fruit, cassis, all well balanced with integrated tannins. Great mouthfeel and long finish. This wine is still pretty youthful.

November 28, 2020 - Almost black in color, matching the bramble nose. I get a little campfire and some vegetal notes. Palette is smooth and silky with nice acid. More energy than most QC. Feels properly right bank.
At the tail end of primary.

April 14, 2020 - Not as good as I had hoped given $95 release price. This is the second non-CVR QCC i have opened and 2hrs decant is not sufficient. By the end there was promise, very fine tannin and fruit starting to come around. I think another 5+years is a good start.

February 29, 2020 - Popped this for Open That Bottle Night (on Leap Day no less). What a wine! Massive flavor, nicely integrated tannins, ample acidity, great mouthfeel. Flavors of cassis, plum and violets, with a nice earthy, chocolatey espresso finish. I could drink this all night (and I did)! Drink now - 2032.
