June 13, 2020 - Initial red fruited nose of cherry, strawberry and raspberry open up with herbs and pepper.
Mellow down on palate with dark fruits emerge, showing black berry, black cherry follow by pepper and smoke meat.
Still plenty of dry tannins on finish. Holding well but it has evolved from bright fruity wine to show more peppery spice. -

October 26, 2018 - This was a bottle that I got on sale with a stained label plus an employee discount at the wine shop I used to work at. That aside, pretty tasty for Dolcetto: bright, tart red fruit, woody notes and subdued, nice tannins. I had the first bottle nearly 2 years ago, and knew it needed food and time.
This felt right for a rainy, chilly Friday night. Simple but enjoyable. -

March 9, 2017 - Big difference compared to last time 2 years ago. Tannins and acidity has mellowed out, this drinks nicely now.
