December 9, 2020 - Tasted from double magnum. In excellent condition and maturity, now in its peak of its drinking window and will stay there for many years as it develops more tertiary notes into complexity. Silky and soft with fully rounded tannins, hints of tobacco and leather accompanying dried fig and red plum. Long and mouth watering finish creating an immediate desire for another sip.

November 20, 2016 - A modern Rioja with a very fruity nose full of red and dark, ripe berrys, and a touch of chocolate. Mediumbodied plus on the palate with lots of fruit (strawberry, black currant and dark cherry), some vanilla and a a good fresh, lingering and refreshing acidity. 90+, excellent! No hurry to drink this, it will last several years yet.
September 17, 2016 - Very vegetal on the nose and palate. Notes of green pepper, onion, garlic, mixed with tons of astringency and acidity, lots of tannin, and light notes of yeast and bread. Purple.
April 9, 2016 - Ensamblaje de 89% tempranillo y 11% de graciano. Se elaboraron 72.068 l. y esta es la botella 74.850. 14,5º alc. De color picota cubierto tiene una nariz intensa y expresiva, con una deliciosa expresión de fruta roja en sazón, atractivos matices especiados, algo de maderas finas (caja de puros) y delicados tostados en segundo plano y algún toques balsámico en el fondo. En boca es muy elegante, con cuerpo medio, tiene buen paso, cierta untuosidad, buena acidez, estructura media, taninos muy finos y pulidos y notable longitud. Un Rioja moderno de excelente presencia. Otro de los grandes riojas modernos.
January 1, 2016 - Improved with aeration, but still a bit too much wood for the level of fruit.
December 19, 2015 - Closed down on the nose but elegant on the palate just off the cork pull.
September 23, 2015 - DHWine. Cherry coloured wine with maroon edges, this wine has a leathery nose and a spicy taste. Better with food (tasted with blue cheese, sun-dried peppers, Spanish tortilla, ham and cured meat sausage).
