  May 1, 2021 - 2012 Nichols Cabernet Sauvignon, Mt. Veeder ($29 from Wine Access in 2014). As covered here previously, major bottle variations. This last bottle had cork taint; mustiness; perhaps TCA. Dumped it down the drain.

  July 29, 2018 - Given some of the notes, wonder about bottle variations. We enjoyed it. Mid-ruby, brick edges; pomegranate, mint and 2x4 wood nose; mid-body; round; good fruit; balanced; minty-woody finish.

  March 16, 2018 - One dimensional, no bouquet, some blue fruit with almost no structure or finish. This is the most disappointing wine that I have purchased because of a wine access review. I poured most of the bottle down the drain.

  July 30, 2017 - Still, just bad! Thin, one dimensional and that dimension is terrible. Pedigree of fruit coupled with the credentials of the maker equals embarrassing.
