December 14, 2022 - Beautiful with age...drinks like a Brunello at this stage.
June 28, 2019 - Wow, more like a Brunello than a rosso.
October 18, 2018 - Last bottle and largely consistent with '15 note. I'd probably drink in the next couple years if I had any more though. Ruby to garnet color. Aromas of black and sour cherry, dried meat, dried leaves and herbs, and a touch of floral. Medium body, bright acidity, good length, and flavors of sour cherry and high toned red fruits, lemon, orange peel, dried spices, and minerals. Not getting the dill anymore at this point. Fairly straightforward, but enjoyable effort for pasta and such.
November 17, 2017 - PnP. No detailed notes. Drank with dinner. Quite good with dinner and after dinner. Drinking quite well now.

July 1, 2017 - Lots of red fruit led by cherry. Hints of liquorice. Ruby red color. Nice finish.
January 25, 2017 - Floral nose, strong rose and sour red cherry, having seen a good bit of air this shows a bit more power and less focus, darker red fruit, herbs, lots of licorice and liqueur like cherry; good.
October 10, 2016 - Loads of cherry, balsamic, cherry pit and dried herbs. Moderate acidity and medium + tannin. Medium finish. This certainly got better with air and is drinking well after being opened two days. Very nice for the price. 91+
July 23, 2016 - Aromas of cranberry, iodine, and smoke. This 2012 has gripping, chalky tannins that settle down after an hour or so. Nicely delineated flavors of cranberry, cherry, and pomegranate Still a bit young, I would hold for another year or so.
March 30, 2016 - Drinking very nicely. Not complex but better than avg week night rosso.
