December 3, 2023 - Well, it has taken 13 years fir the tannins to soften and the fruit to show through, but a very nice, but not off-the-charts wine. Needed a 2 hour decant. Not sure it has a lot of "come hither".

Deep ruby color with slight lightening at the rim.
Nose of red fruit, tobacco, and a touch of earth.
Medium to almost full body with red fruits predominating, displaying excellent depth and purity along with a hint of charcoal. There were supportive tannins producing an excellent mouth feel with mid-palate stimulation, culminating in a 20+ second finish.
This extremely enjoyable 2010 Brunello features excellent structure, complexity, and a definite grip. A really good wine, that should have at least 5 to 10 years of enjoyable life ahead.
