November 24, 2023 - Super perfumed, cooked plums, blueberry syrup, baking spices in the nose. Flavors are full of plums and black/blue berries. 10 years in bottle have smoothed it out beautifully, silky smooth. A wonderful mixed-blacks Cali wine.

December 2, 2022 - Delightful! Black cherry, spice … balanced and still youthful. The wine opened up considerable in the glass.

August 28, 2021 - This was a bit more plummy/jammy than the last bottle - lacking the energy and bright fruit I associate with this vineyard. Usually these wines say more ‘Evangelho’ than any one grape, but this was very much saying Zin tonight. Still, this paired well with Flannery ribeyes
