October 16, 2020 - A bit of a muted nose, but it’s only been open fifteen or so minutes. Silky mouthfeel, and very strong but restrained fruit (no sweetness). Medium tannins with a bit of grit. Some coffee and cocoa. Extremely well made.

August 16, 2020 - Similar TNs as previous bottle. However, this has also evolved some and really mellowed. For such an inky, high alcohol wine, it was still a really nice sipper. Think the 90 min of air also did it good.

August 9, 2020 - Jet black in color. 14.5% ABV. Sublime nose of red and black fruits, mint, anise and pepper. Full bodied with mouth watering acidity. Dark fruited and made in a Claret style. So clearly a field blend as no particular variety jumps out of the glass. Black cherry, citrus, charcoal and black pepper on the palate. Tremendous length on the finish with gritty tannins. My first time trying this wine and it is hard not to be intrigued. It feels like 6-8 years from release is the right time to start drinking these.

June 16, 2020 - This wine has aged nicely. The tannins have pretty much melted away leaving a core of black fruit and spice. Some camphor on the nose. Medium bodied with acid on the high side (not uncommon for Bedrock). Near peak drinking window but with a few more years left.
