May 27, 2012 - 34th Annual Zinfandel Retrospective - the 2007s (Rich & Dana's): Pale color. Lemongrass, lemon zest, tart white apple. Pleasant white fruit, soft citrus and grassy notes. Lengthy finish with softened acidity.

April 10, 2011 - Color is slightly deeper than the first wine. Citrus and grassy tones. Palate shows a fairly rich texture with nice citrusy fruit and a dirty edge. Guessed Bordeuax again on this one.

August 21, 2009 - Another weekend of Excess; 8/21/2009-8/24/2009 (Chicagoland): Opened and tasted 3 separate bottles this evening. All showing much fresher than expected for an '05 Sauvignon Blanc. Dark straw color and aromatics of lemon, pear, apple and just a touch oxidation (in a good way). Palate had rich fruit with good minerality and cleansing acidity.
