February 18, 2020 - Liked substantially less than the 2010. Much fatter, riper.

December 5, 2015 - Red cherry, spices and floral notes on the quite pretty nose. Bright at first, but married it with a real depth that showed off the red cherry and red raspberry through the middle quite well. Integrated spices, good tannic structure and really nice length on the finish. High point of this wine were its depth and complexity through the middle. Overall, a very well made rosso that should show quite well for the next few years, but is so enticing now, it will be hard to resist.

May 18, 2015 - Quite good with food (spaghetti bolognese, and some roasted red peppers in olive oil). A hint of smoked meat on the finish.

May 4, 2015 - Maybe I got a bad bottle - this was astringent, little fruit, not enjoyable. Update: after 5 days it became a little softer and drinkable, but still mediocre.

May 3, 2015 - Dark cherries and spice. Definitely more of a modern style, juicy with good acidity. Different than the Rosso's I'm used to, but still quite nice.

April 7, 2015 - Might be a lucky vintage thing, but I am so surprised by this unique and stylish tuscan. Easy on the wallet and intriguing on the glass. Light medium body with such tropical bouquet, with, and this is coming out of nowhere, cherries, lychees, white chocolate, vanilla, chesnuts. This pinot profile is followed by the roundest dry structure, with beautifully welcome tannins and spices, offering such a savory finish. One of a kind, with sweet spots on tongue and depth on the throat. These are not features one would expect on this price range. 88
