July 28, 2021 - Tasted this with vintage 2017 at cellar door. Super smooth texture, some savoury and tertiary flavours developed, mushroom and meat, all elegant in a medium body and moderate structure. A well aged central otago, not too much strength, but vigorous. Blended fruits from various vineyards, Bannockburn, Bendigo and Lowburn.
Ap 5/5, Ar 12/15, Palate 17/20, Overall 4+3/10

August 15, 2018 - Clear medium eed core with paler rim, developing
Nose is clean, medium intese aromas of strawberry, cherries, wild strawberries, clove, spice, oak, developing
Palate is dry, medium ripe tannins, medium alcohol, body and flavour intensity, medium+ acidity and dry extract is quite high with aromas of wild strawberry, strawberry, cherries, oak, spices like clove, long finish
Well balanced, very solid concentration and long finish. Medium intense. Drink now and next 10 years, outstanding quality, 92p -

July 8, 2016 - No proper notes - very well concentrated and balanced with aromas of wild strawberries, kirch, oak and alot of spice. Very good quality wine, 91p
