  April 30, 2021 - Consumed over 2 days, (vacuvined and refrigerated) note from day 2. Appearance: Clear, dark ruby. Nose: Clean, medium intensity with aromas of blackberry, cassis, tobacco, leather, and lavender. Palate: Dry, medium+ acid and tannin, high alcohol (14.7%), full bodied, medium+ intensity with flavors of ripe dark fruit, spice, and earth with a medium finish.
  
  Overall very good wine dominated by ripe fruit and alcohol with very good intensity and complexity.

  July 20, 2019 - Dark and bold with rich berry flavors. Lots of ripe fruit with tinges of minerals and spice. Not overly complex. Tannins well polished. Nice finish. PNP so will see what day 2 brings.

  August 17, 2017 - Don't touch it right now. Very tannic. Unclear whether it will improve with age but that's the only hope at the moment. I think give it five years plus.

  September 10, 2016 - Tight and totally balled-up through the entire 4+ hours of tasting (decanted in a wide-bottomed decanter for most of that time at 54 degrees - warming it up in the glass to more room temperature didn't change anything). Extremely high-toned red and purple berry fruit, giving very little in the way of other flavor nuances. Monolithic and, quite frankly, a bit worrisome for me in terms of deciding whether or not any upside will actually exist on this wine in a few years.
  
  This reminded me of a wound-up, super young CdP Grenache, given all of its tartness and high register berry fruit flavors. Acid was also a bit high. Luckily it was paired with really spicy food (Harissa shrimp with Israeli couscous and roasted tomatoes), so the wine was able to keep up from that standpoint; but alas, it was far from anything I would want to revisit in the near future (if at all).
  
  Unless someone starts gushing about how this wine has finally opened up and has turned into some blossoming figure of majesty, I plan on letting my remaining bottles sleep for at least 3 years. Some time in mid-2019 MIGHT be the time for this wine (if this wine ever has its "time").
  
  90+? points based on this tasting. Best advice at this point is to HOLD!
