February 10, 2019 - Much better than last time. More red fruit than blue, medium bodied, fully integrated tannins, lots of spices, and a really nice long finish.

October 17, 2018 - Think this is on the downhill slide. Alkalinity present on opening. Day 2 was sort of sourish, tart if you will. Glad it's my last bottle.

May 10, 2018 - Day 1: Similar to the last bottle. Not really open for business with underbrush, spices, chalk and dull fruit. I would expect a similar transformation to the last bottle but this is not a pop and pour wine. Not the most enjoyable at the moment. 83 points
Day 2: Thank goodness it got better. Plums, blueberries, spices, floral and crushed rock. Much more concentrated and flavorful. Medium plus finish. It is rare for a Malbec at this level to need this kind of air but this one does. Will revisit on day 3 but so much better. 89 points
Day 3: Similar to day 2 but a bit more of a crushed rock element. More open than day 1. Seems to be a wine that could use some aging.
Recommendation: Hold for 3 to 5 years.

March 6, 2018 - I think this could use a little more time in the cellar. It just seems to be a little fruit forward and it could balance out.

January 27, 2018 - Opened the night before. More open for business today with bramble, subtle spices, blueberries, strawberries and a touch of shaved chocolate on the finish. On the nose it is more intense than the palate which is round and soft. It is a pleasing offering and at $17.50 a bottle certainly a very good QPR.
Day 3 Review: Nose is better. Blackberries, blueberries, floral notes and spices. Not an over the top effort and quite balanced. Should be enjoyed within the next few years. Similar score but a little different profile than day 1/2. 90 points
