March 25, 2019 - 1995 Bordeaux (Beautiful Solvang, CA): From a magnum. Not the best of my three of these, but closer to the best than the worst. Really blossomed with air, taking on weight and balance. By the end of the evening, mild oxidation was less evident, with acidity and fruit in beautiful harmony. Notes of chiffon and caramel, with good depth of flavors. Medium+ finish

December 23, 2018 - From a magnum. The last bottle I had was muted and fading. This was a different specimen altogether, with plenty of acidity and fruit in beautiful harmony. Notes of chiffon and caramel, with good depth of flavors. Medium+ finish.

December 2, 2016 - On the decline but still a rich and rewarding example of aged white Burg., with shy fruit and ample secondary notes of caramel, herbs and saline.

December 3, 2012 - Dinner at Marc's (Marc's House - Bellingham, WA): From magnum. Great freshness on the nose with some seashell, apple, pear and peach. The palate seemed to be in a good place. Nice secondary notes of flint and truffle made this complex and quite lovely.

April 22, 1998 - Much more fruit and complexity than most years. Hints of honey and beeswax. Love it. Only wish it was a bit richer. Still on the dainty side for my tastes.
UPDATE: had this recently from a half-bottle. Definitely fading and was better in it's youth. Still clean and nice acidity but the lovely notes of honey and fruit were quite muted, though still there
