February 17, 2019 - Cherry, blackberry and plum as the label describes the flavor profile. Delicate and soft tannins. There is nothing unique about this Zinfandel but taste great with a variety of foods.

October 15, 2018 - The wine looks crimson colored. The legs are medium. There is moderate sediment in the bottle. It smells like mineral. It tastes like light toast. The body is medium. The wine has leathery texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.

September 23, 2018 - For a 2012 Zin, actually still quite good. Can really taste the black cherry. Not too heavy and was good pre dinner and with food.

May 15, 2018 - Pop and pour, drank over 2 hours. Really nicely made California Zin. Lots of fruit on the nose initially, after 1 hour, it had some dried fruit, raisins, figs, and some leather. Easy, smooth, and pleasant drinking. Does not taste hot on the palate. You can easily pair this wine with any dish and it would just work. One of the better zin I've had over the years. Would buy again. Still has lots of life left.

December 10, 2017 - Initially upon opening this wine - it was a little shut down. On the nose it really was lacking. On the palate also, felt that maybe it was past its prime. Hoping for the best, poured into a decanter for 30 minutes and it completely changed! Lots of red fruit, spice, black pepper on the nose, really pleasant and fragrant. On the palate it was also extremely tasty - a good spice kick to it that you expect from a California Zinfandel. Drank over the course of 2 hours and it really hit its stride after 1 hour and continued to be good. I have 1 more bottle of this left - will likely drink soon as I believe it started to decline, but still in a good place now.
