October 3, 2020 - More backward, densed and layered with ripe black and red fruits, liquorice, peppers and well judged oak spices, dark chicolate. Supple yet soft, distinctive old vine Barossa character.

September 27, 2020 - Had this last night. Very good, but not at the quality level I was expecting. Maybe expectations too high? I found it a bit angular, with the acidity popping out a bit too much. Great complexity – there’s no doubting the individuality of the site and its eucalypt, sage and bay leaf flavours. Will live a long time and maybe settle some more. Still very enjoyable- just not hitting the heights I was hoping for.
