March 29, 2021 - Really delicious, but you can tell this is starting to fade. The fruit was subdued but still present. No reason to wait, drink up.
December 11, 2020 - Some must on the nose. Blew off somewhat after opening. Delicious fruit is still there, but I wish I opened the bottle years earlier.
January 16, 2020 - Excellent as always. While some Epochs will blow you away the estate blend is always a solid, well balanced performer. Dark cherry, licorice, cedar, spice are all balanced to keep you coming back for more. Tannins are soft and the acidic punch makes this a pleasure to drink with food.
November 30, 2019 - Bold Paso Robles Rhone blend, with a distinctive touch of tempranillo. Dark cherry, tobacco, and cedar, with fine-grained tannins and a delicious acidity. Drinking beautifully at seven years, with secondary flavors and elegant, cranberry finish. 45% Syrah 24% Mourvedre 20% Grenache 11% Tempranillo
November 23, 2019 - Deep purple, smoked meat, bacon fat and dark fruits on the nose. Black cherry, tobacco, still young, tightly grained tannins, and tart blueberry finish.
May 9, 2019 - Really good. Not as good as some other Epoch's, but really good.
August 25, 2018 - Absolutely delicious wine from Epoch. PNP and it was ready to fully enjoy within 20 minutes in the glass. Balanced and smooth with dark fruit and pepper. Soft tannins and great mouthfeel. I’m glad I have a few more bottles of this. Epoch in my opinion is one of the best values on the market
July 8, 2018 - Wonderful as always. The Estate Blend is always one of my favorites
May 27, 2018 - Great red fruit, raspberry
April 28, 2018 - Great blends, just love Epoch
