August 19, 2021 - A little funk when first opened that blew off very quickly to reveal a well integrated wine that still has plenty of life. Wish I had more.

April 2, 2021 - Medium to dark ruby in colour with aromas of sweet black fruit, blackberry, earthy minerality & oak.
On the palate, easy to drink medium bodied black fruit, blackberry, black cherry, earth, well integrated oak & brown sugar with medium acidity & medium silky tannins. The finish is long to savoury spice & pepper.
It is a little hot at ABV 15.1%, but very enjoyable. This Teldeschi style seems intermediate between Lodi jammy/oaky/smoky & the more subtle Russian River style of the Carlisle Zyns. A good compromise.

July 29, 2019 - This juice is ready now. Well integrated and the fruit has calmed down nicely. Smooth and unobjectionable an any and all ways. Drink ‘em if you got ‘em.

July 4, 2019 - Big black fruited nose with pepper. I didnt notice the 15.1% alcohol on the nose. On the palate this was much more refined. Smooth tannins, red and black fruits were balanced and even ok acidity. No real tertiary notes yet, but this has calmed down a bit from its youth and it drinking well. Great wine wine with curried lamb burgers on the 4th.
