April 12, 2020 - G20; Burg Bowls; 4.5+8*+4*+8*+8.5+4*+4.5=92+. Drank '11 side by side with '12. Light golden color; clean citrus nose with good yeast notes and minerality and florals. Mouthfeel is lean, pure with gobs of effervescence; less richness & complexity of flavors; clean, pure. Finish is enduring; again, clean, pure. All things considered, balance is solid. This will cellar for years.

March 6, 2016 - Very very energetic and spritzy at this time, very young. Nose of washi - Japanese pear-quince. Very high accidity, even tartness, not giving much at the time, needs cellaring or decanting. With time there grows a nose of pharmacy, also acacia. For the looong haul. 89 now, 91+ after a couple of years.
