October 1, 2019 - Tasted at the winery. Surprisingly slighly better mouth feel than Bryant flagship wine in my opinion, but they are both fantastic. A great Napa wine.

July 19, 2019 - Decanted and served. Balanced and precise Cabernet blend that evolved over three hours. I'd probably give this a three-hour decant next time. Pretty standard flavor profile for a Napa cab with cassis, licorice, coffee, spice. Gorgeous on the palate, especially after some air.

August 29, 2018 - This is dense closed and with fine tannins. Tried it over two hours and it didn't open up much. Concentrated fruit, not much sense of oak or caramel. We need to give it time to see whether its great - like the mothership Bryant, or permanently like this - more like Rudd

June 17, 2017 - During a CabSav Dinner. Oh my goodness, I cant believe my eyes. A flock of tasters on the CT site giving this wine between 95-98 points. Seriously? This is a good, but aromatically a fairly harmless CabSav that also feels too sweet on the palate. Don't get me wrong, decent, commercial Cab Sav but no way this is anywhere near the upper 90ies. Again, for Napa drinkers who like it plush, I suggest to attend a Bordeaux Left Bank 2009 tasting and you will see that richness and complexity can go together. Or, if it has to be Napa, try Colgin IX.

July 1, 2015 - Our first exposure to Bettina - this was an excellent Cabernet but not so sure it's worth $465
