August 24, 2019 - Klar, middels dyp rød. Klassisk, delikat nebbiolonese. Heftig tanninstruktur, men samtidig veldig elegant. Kommet noe lengre enn en flaske drukket i 2016, men den utvikler seg langsomt og ser ikke ut til å gå mot nedstengning.

June 21, 2019 - UWS; A mixed set of wines (@ JB): The bouquet is a bit rustic with autumn forest and stable smells. On the palate red and dark berries, chocolate, espresso, good acidity and sticky, slightly drying tannin. Beautiful, elegant and complex wine with a long future.

May 4, 2019 - Floral, rose petals. Feminine wine on the nose, quite perfumed and beautiful. Tannins starting to subside enough to drink now; still requires good 1+hr decant. Berries, orange peel, leather, cigar box. Striking, serious, discussion worthy wine. Very enjoyable with pasta, black truffle, homemade Italian sausage at Terroni in Toronto.

November 25, 2018 - This is not surprisingly a brute of a wine now. Dark fruit, violets, herbs and lots and lots of tar and earth. No mistaking this as anything but quality Nebbiolo. Was reasonably approachable the first day after a quick decant. Day two, the nose is similar but the tannins are overwhelming everything on the palate. Will wait many many years before opening one from my own small stash.

October 2, 2018 - A lovely bottle that is entering a drinking window from my passive cellar. Light in color, lovely nose of flowers, leather, tar. palate was full but light on its feet with dancing fruits and herb. Excellent with food, excellent alone. I love this producers style.
