October 26, 2023 - Good overall but it may be starting it's decline. There is some bitterness on the finish but the front end has oak, red berries, and herbal/grass notes.

December 6, 2019 - With Estie for dinner at the Tabb's home. PnP Darker red than typical pinot. Dark fruit and spice box on the nose. Black cherries and raspberries in the mouth. Medium body and velvety smooth. Went nicely with a delicious mushroom dish,

September 13, 2019 - Not in the same league as their Gary’s vineyard but pleasant. Very spicy with allspice, clove, touch of anise. Plum and blackberry dominate the fruit. To me this is a little too rich for my tastes in Pinot noir, a style I found less in evidence in several vintages of Gary’s. If you like CA Pinot- and I often don’t like hot climate pinot - this will be right up your alley.
    Score : 89. Relative to expectations: 0

July 31, 2017 - This is a definite improvement since my last visit to this wine a little over a year ago. Dark Fruit, medium body and acid all in balance now and providing a very pleasurable experience.

May 30, 2015 - Darkly colored. Highly aromatic (stems + clones?), perhaps my favorite trait of the wine. Floral, spicy, rich, good acidity. Concentrated wine reminiscent of the SLH region. Very tasty.

December 30, 2014 - Darker cored & colored very crimson-like. Nose shows tremendous breed and poise with it dar raspberries and black cherries. There is almost a coolness coming off this that I really appreciate. As you swirl the nose goes deeper and more expressive. Palate displays A prettiness and deftly pronounced sweetness that elevates it nicely. I get sassafras, darker raspberries, bing cherries and a hine of pomegranate. After a moment or two some interesting spice comes through. What is really amazing is the loftiness of the fruits that just never give up. Tannins are well in the background and acidity in a nice place for food. Overall mouthfeel is polished and silk-like. Love this ones vibrancy and elegance and I could see the sweet berry fruits melding nicely in a few years, this will be a stunner. Finish is long, true and fruit persistent. Would love to know what Clos Pepe brings to this as I am not well versed in its distinctions. If this bottle is any indicator, I want to become acquainted.
