September 20, 2009 - Cassis and tobacco on day one, with a green, chunky tannic clamp at the end. Day 2 revealed more complexity, with some, plum, cherry, and graphite notes appearing. Those tannins never did abate, however. Good upside potential if the tannins resolve. There was little sediment, so I expect they can.

July 11, 2009 - Firm nicely integrated tannins throughout - dark garnet color, black berry, black raspberry form the core with hints of oak, black currant and oak on the finish.

December 17, 2003 - Despite a muted nose, lots of concentration and dark fruits on the palate with sneaky tight tannins
