January 14, 2024 - Popped and poured. This was singing right out of the bottle so probably in a good spot. Dark black cherry flavor with some sweet baking spice notes. Hint of balsamic reduction and a touch of rose petal. Very nice. Similar flavors on the palate with medium+ acidity and tannin but certainly drinkable. Smooth finish. Very nice wine and a steal for the sale price paid.

October 28, 2023 - Spicy and still fruit forward despite being opened and decanted 4 hours ahead of our meal. Strong tannins softened quickly. Powerful without being harsh.

January 8, 2022 - Fantastic QPR, paid $47 for the bottle. Really nice and approachable now as other reviews mention. Pnp and then drank slowly over 3 hours, enjoyable the whole way through!

December 11, 2021 - Opened 6 hours before drinking. Deep red core with gradual fading. Tobacco and discrete red fruit aromas. Light and lively in the mouth with excellent fruit/savory balance and fine acidity. Firmly tannic finish. A very nice lower end 2010 Barolo that is probably only halfway to maturity but accessible enough to drink and enjoy now. Good effort.

January 6, 2021 - Medium bodied. Medium plus acidity. Medium plus tannins. Cedar coated strawberry and cherry. Drink now-2030. This baby has a way to go.
