October 7, 2017 - Brick red color. Nose of currants and plum. Palate is similar black fruits; tannins are soft and integrated. Aerated this for an hour. Near its peak now.

January 21, 2017 - A bit tight initially with fruit taking a back seat. After about an hour, black cherry nose comes forward with some cedar. Chewy persistent tannins and a bit of alcoholic heat diminish the finish. Not fully integrated but solid effort.
