April 4, 2024 - Colgin Dinner (RPM Seafood - Chicago IL): Alongside the 2010. Both 63% Cab Sauv, 20% Merlot, balance split between Cab Franc and Petit Verdot. Ultra rich black plum, currant, cassis, dark chocolate, espresso, and sweet spice. This easily manages to retain very good balance, but just doesn't have the same cut and grace as the 2010 for me, but this is certainly very tasty right now.

September 9, 2023 - Blind tasting with Tychson Hill and Cariad of same vintage. Strong showing with it being the most Bordeaux-like of the trio.

June 15, 2023 - Cloudy bright ruby color. Indian spices, plums, blackberries, sour green plums, cocoa, and raspberry on the notes. Really rich wine with mulberries, melange of purple and blue fruits. Delicious.

April 20, 2023 - Tasting: Had this 2018 and then I wrote: A very good, US Cabernet, slightly French, at least not very big. Very easy to like, and, of course, lots of quality. One of the best US cabernet sauvignons I have had (94).

As of now, this wine is certainly more American than French. A bit bigger and bolder, but it has matured in a very nice and I upgrade to 95. The wine of the tasting for me and the rest of the group.
