August 24, 2020 - My last bottle. Tart red fruit and tons of acidity. I’m a stable place. Fine, but this is not going any better.

March 4, 2012 - Great, fresh strawberry nose, good structure but acids were beginning to take over the finish.

November 23, 2010 - The candied cherry fruit is still present and the wine has even picked up some tea notes. However, the acid additions have started to eclipse the fruit, throwing the wine out of balance. Time to drink up.

July 22, 2008 - NJ Pinot Noir Tasting - June 21st OFFLINE - took place on July 22nd (New Jersey): Another fun bottle from Alma Rosa. This wine was open for about 45 minutes before first pour. Nose of dark red fruits and the slightest hint of spice. Candied cherry and blackberry on the palate, this was a very fruit forward wine with the slightest hint of cola. A pretty light bodied wine with a medium finish. A pleasure to drink, and we love Richard Sanford's wines! Great daily drinkers!
