  January 10, 2021 - Jean Edwards Cellars is owned by a couple from New Jersey who left their corporate jobs to make wine in Napa Valley.
  
  I won this bottle a few years ago at a wine dinner they organized.
  
  Night two notes. Medium ruby - much lighter in color than I expect for a Petite Sirah. Lots of sediment in the bottle.
  
  Subtle light berries, black pepper and cardamom spice on the nose. Medium to light bodied on the palate – drinking a lot more like a cool climate wine than a Napa Valley P.S. Flavors of cherry, gravel and ash. Medium acidity and light tannins.
  
  Given its lightness, I decided to pair it with spicy Indian curry and it went extremely well.

  March 21, 2020 - Fresh mixed blue/purple/black fruit, cocoa, earth and pepper on both the nose and palate. The structure was a bit lighter than I anticipated for a PS but acid/tannins are there. Drinking very well now but I wouldn’t hold long after its 10th birthday.
