June 27, 2019 - 12.2% abv. Dark burgundy red, moderately expressive aromas. Cherry, with hints of cinnamon and mint. Excellent depth and length. Very lively, with a grippy, sappy element. A very pretty Pinot that is aging very gracefully. Years of enjoyment ahead.

May 5, 2019 - Aggressively tart red fruit. No fun to drink.

March 26, 2018 - Pale color. Big, deep earthy cherry nose. Initially mellow cherry in the mouth, quickly evolving to tart cherry and cranberry with a touch of herbs (thyme) and minerals. Interesting. Improved significantly over two hours highlighting that it was young and closed on openig. Open next bottle in about teo years.

March 18, 2017 - This was utterly fantastic. Bright red cherry on the nose mixed with subtle notes of herb and earth. The palate is the real knockout, and I will steal one of Galloni's descriptors: crystalline. The purity and brightness of the cherry and cranberry notes was mind blowing. This a perfectly medium bodied, restrained, stereotype-crushing (12.2% ABV) domestic Pinot Noir. I can comfortably call this the best domestic Pinot Noir I've had. It needs air because there appears to be a bit of dissolved CO2 that leaves a little zip on the palate; it went away with some air and swirling.

September 2, 2015 - Fresh vibrant red fruits here....raspberry, cherry, cranberry, rhubarb....soft, not crunchy, but still a nice tartness.....pretty florals, red candy apples, dried potpourri....a nice subtle earth and herb spice. Bright and smooth as silk...elegance....totally reminds me of a young Roumier Chambolle Musigny!! Tasty!
