August 29, 2014 - (Tasted at Vino, Hollywood, Florida) This is an enjoyable blend of 70% Nero d’Avola and 30% Frappato from Sicily. The wine has a medium purple color with aromas of florals, cherries, and raspberries. It tastes of ripe sweet cherries, blackberries, red fruit, and licorice. This wine is smooth, and light to medium bodied with a moderate finish. It is a nice, drinkable, summer red.
