January 2, 2024 - Very impressive. Ready to drink now. Paired beautifully with grilled beef ribeye.

December 27, 2023 - Beautiful nose with dark and some red fruit, secondary notes beginning to evolve, sweet tannins mollified and refined. Very enjoyable wine, at or close to apogee.

November 5, 2023 - Just an awesome bottle of wine. Slow ox'd for 3 hours. The nose was fruit and hints of chocolate. The palate was swirling flavors of Black Cherry, Plum, Fig, Leather, Tobacco and hints of chocolate. The finish was as I always find with Saxum wines goes on and on and on. It had the desired effect of watching the Giant game less painful.

October 7, 2023 - Purple in color. 15.5% ABV. 48% Syrah, 22% Petite Sirah, 17% Grenache, 6% Mourvedre, 4% Tempranillo and 3% Roussanne. Heady nose of blue and black fruits, molten licorice and Whitman Sampler Box. Full bodied with perfect acidity and notable balance. Plush and silky with lavish upfront fruits. Blueberry, black raspberry, creme de cassis and barbecued meats on the palate. Tremendous length on the finish. Absolutely sublime and definitely ready to drink. Best over the next 1-2 years.
