    March 23, 2023 - Tasted over 2 hrs
    -semi-translucent, moderate bricking
-expressive full aromatically hits you with sous bois funk cinnamon rhubarb clove
-med gentle acidity, med/med- weight more than expected from the color, low profile gentle spicy red fruits with some residual med/med- sticky tannins
-the wild nose of its youth persists now with a funky mature layer that itself is worth the price of admission, a bit past its prime on the palate though

July 21, 2020 - Consistent with last note, this is drinking beautifully and yet shows no sign of going downhill. I don’t know if these are intended to be long agers, but I think these Arnot-Roberts Trousseaus really hit their stride 5-7 years after the vintage when they’ve shed some of the puppy fat and settle into something softer and more subtle. Sad I don’t have more of this 2013.

February 23, 2020 - Much better than the previous bottle. Needs 2 hrs open at minimum. A couple years have done wonders. Lightly spicy, deeply earthy, and tart red fruit nose. Taste was light reds fruits, deep earthy core, and some baking spice. Pretty strong drying tannins and acidity to give strucure. It kept getting better as it sat. Quite nice bottle. No need to rush to drink.

    November 22, 2019 - Tasted over 2 hrs
    -semi-translucent light red purple
    -band-aid funk
-med acidity, med- weight fairly focused faded red fruits with a faintly creamy note covering up an underlying funky streak that leads into the rather coarse med/med+ tannins
-this is aging awkwardly - much better 4 years ago though in fairness this bottle does seem to have some Brettanomyces affecting it, not as good as the 2012 at this stage

November 21, 2019 - Plum and raspberry notes with a bit of earth. Lovely dusky pink color.
