March 17, 2024 - Heater week; 3/8/2024-3/17/2024 (Chicago, IL): Another edition where the funk seems to dominate. It's a bit of a weird, high-alcohol barnyard thing which I really, really don't care for at all. Leathery and stern, another somewhat charmless edition.

January 24, 2024 - Simply delicious! Crushed wet stone, berry, and floral aromas which develop beautifully on the rich palate with soft tannins on the long finish!

December 27, 2023 - This is as close to heaven as a Syrah gets. At ten years this has maintained it’s purity of fruit with a pleasant freshness that off-sets the explosion of Rocks’ flavors. Saddle leather, river stone and dark berries all held together with impeccable balance. A perfect Christmas wine.
