April 15, 2016 - As always a lovely complex rose. Salmon colored, a bit muted on the nose. Nice weight in the mouth, with flavors of tart strawberries, with hints of sweetness, and a tart finish that dances on the tongue. There is some nice acidity that lifts the flavors. Pretty good for a Rose.

Wow, this is opening up nicely with a bit of time in the glass. The tartness/bitterness dissipates. This has developed a lot more complexity. Nice viscous mouth feel, with some more lively flavors. There is a depth here that was not present on first opening. I may want to hold the other two for a few years. Perhaps the Roses are like the other cayuse -- even better with some serious bottle age.

I raised the score from 86 to 90. May raise it more depending on what happens later this evening in the glass.
