May 29, 2023 - My last bottle of Morlet. Cassis, cedar, cherry a little tobacco & eucalyptus on the nose. Extremely rich palate, sweet with red fruit, med+ herbal finish. Very rich, a tad hot. Still some tannin. Tongue coating, almost heavy. Aperitif wine. Really a well crafted wine but not a style that I favor these days.
