April 4, 2020 - Still likely could use a year or two. Dark fruit, nice acidity, good balance.

January 31, 2020 - Delicious wine with great character, texture and mouth feel. Dense, with balanced tannins. Nose of blackberry, leather, forest floor. Very enjoyable-- very youthful.

December 9, 2019 - Morlet: A Bordeaux lookalike from Knights Valley that offers up some old school flavors of red and black currant, black and red cherry, tobacco, underbrush, and some leather. Finishes with an herbaceous tinge, making for a more lithe and drier back end. The aridness stays with the back of the jaw and clamps down on the fruit after a few seconds. 92-93 points.

November 27, 2019 - Intense nose of cassis and cherry, very rich palate of more red fruit, intense long peppery finish. Good balance with quite a bit of tannin. Very nice intensity without heaviness. Very good.

September 19, 2019 - Tastings; 9/19/2019-9/20/2019 (Napa): Herbaceous, spicy, great energy and tension. This is drinking well now. Tasted at the Morlet winery.
