    January 14, 2019 - note to self

May 15, 2012 - nose - very ripe verging on port
mouth - luscious sweet rich ripe fruit with nice acidity, this wine has very lovely midpalate lift of dark fruits and violets, and then a long tannic finish with lingering notes of port and molasses. This is a lovely amarone but when its all said and done the molasses on the finish makes me feel like I've just hade a malt beverage. Teetering the fine line between albsolutely lovely and overdone. Drink up.

December 7, 2007 - Beautiful Amarone. Decanted about 1 hr and drank over next three. Kept getting better. Heavy wine, but still smooth.

June 21, 2007 - My first time with an Amarone. Very pleasant. Rich and full of flavor. Tannins support, but acids, fruit are also in balance. In the 50s, this seems pricey, but the flavors and experience are worth it.

March 31, 2007 - This was my second taste of this, but the first one was better as I think it had more air time. May be closer to 93-95 pts with proper air time. Love the finish to this wine.
