October 2, 2021 - Couleur rouge brique, disque ambré. Bourrelet et jambes grasses.
Nez assez discret à l'ouverture, vieux cuir, cerise.
En bouche, attaque marquée par des tanins serrés, cerise au marasquin, cuir, viande séchée. Acidité marquée. Persistance sur le noyau de cerise avec un peu d'amertume.
Un peu dispendieux.
May 10, 2021 - From half bottle. Popped and poured.
Red fruit (cherry), nice floral- rose, nice spice, good acidity. Bright. Lingering finish. Really enjoyable.
May 24, 2020 - This is just delicious. Not a lot of other words for how on point this wine has shown tonight. Off the cork, an intoxicating aroma of sweet earth, cherries, anise, truffles and bright flavors that seem to meld into a jewel. This wine impels you to keep smelling it like a perfume... sweet fruit and crispy edges that cling to the acidity like a roller coaster on acid. Thrilling stuff Pure, unmistakable nebbiolo and all its glory So glad and happy that 3 more exist in my cellar
September 22, 2019 - Consistent with previous note.
June 23, 2019 - Popped and poured. Medium ruby core, bricking rim. Lovely nose with hints of dark morello cherries, roses, leather and spices. Concentrated, smooth and well balanced. Entering into its prime drinking window, which should last for another three to four years. Well done!
October 2, 2018 - Passe de 88 --> 92 sur 3 jours, le dernier jour étant le meilleur. À l'ouverture, bouche un peu asséchante, fruits sec, amer et acide. On devine qu'avec de l'air, le vin sera plus doux.
2 jours plus tard en 1/2 bouteille au deux tiers rempli au frigo: le vin devient beaucoup plus long. Le nez est charmeur, d'emblé on devine un vin qui approche la maturité. Saveurs profondes et pénétrante de cerise, fruits rouge, canneberge. Les tannins sont fondus et laisse une pleine sensation de profondeur. Très long en bouche avec une finale salivante. Un producteur pour la garde. Genre de bouteille à ouvrir le matin de la dégustation.

June 16, 2018 - Drank a 375cc at a restaurant. The wine had an orange red cast with some sediment. Initially the wine had an aroma of leather and red fruit. The palate had significant alcohol, acid and tannins with notes of leather, prunes, and hints of coffee. As the meal progressed (agnolotti), these transformed into stewed cherries and minerality. Overall, very pleasant.
June 5, 2016 - Medium body and tannins. Rose and tar. Yellow soy pasting and reminiscence of Shaoxing Wine.
April 28, 2016 - Bien bon, mais pas du calibre des Barolo courants.
Griottes avec une bonne dose d'amertume, tannins assez fins, mais bien présent.
Pas mauvais du tout, mais manque de profondeur et de longueur.
