December 24, 2009 - Slight earthy and rich aroma. Smooth earthy/oak flavor, with some cherry and a little smoke. Easy drinking with no rough edges. Wouldn't want to wait much longer to consume.

October 10, 2009 - This is everything the last bottle wasn't: real chianti. Earthy scents; cherry flavors.

May 15, 2006 - great value chianti. fairly straightforward, with enough of a nose to keep it interesting and not too much oak to mask the bright, mildly sour sangiovese character; very easy drinking and nicely balanced. at $12, i always like to have a bottle on hand.

February 25, 2006 - Bright red. Nice legs. Not as heavy as cheap chianti. An excellent drinking wine. A slight bitter aftertaste makes the wine go well with pasta.
