April 1, 2023 - So good with Crostini: prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, garlic rubbed and olive oil drizzled toasted baguette. With Spanish green olives on the side. A favorite!

September 13, 2017 - Heavy alcohol nose which masked some other notes. I let it sit for about an hour and the alcohol note dissipated leaving behind a light cherry and an earthy veggie note. Drinking kept the veggie, cherry and an almond note. A bit of tannin on the finish. Not bad for $15.

April 7, 2017 - Leathery, with an aroma I cannot place. Not bad but I would probably pass if this came along again.

January 24, 2017 - Actually my wife likes this more than I do. It's fruity, simple, quite sweet in the finish, a weekday quaffer.

December 29, 2016 - Decanted 4 hours. Nicely balanced, fruity w great structure. Slight tannin bite at end but otherwise pretty clean medium finish. Didn't detect any overt "hotness". Apparently I like it more now compared to when I drank it on shorter decant time in 5/2016. Great QPR. Smidge sweet but nothing overpowering. You wouldn't notice if paired w food. Needed a bottle that would "cover all the bases" w a multi course meal. This fit the bill!

December 24, 2016 - Very good QPR. Good amount of red and blue fruits with decent amount of oak (not overbearing though). Medium finish. A little hot/ heavy on alcohol. Great value at $15. Would hold for another 18-24 months though.

November 30, 2016 - Nice red blend from WTSO at a decent QPR. Good red fruit and smooth with a bit of tannins still. Probably has a little time left but would drink up sooner than later.

September 16, 2016 - This was good on day 1 without aerating. Poured into a Savino. I didn't have any on day 2 or day 4. Tasted funky on day 3 and improved slightly on day 5. I would say this wine is past its prime.

May 10, 2016 - decanted 2 hrs. Was ok, probably would've liked it more paired w food. Medium body, fairly spicy

March 25, 2016 - Aerated again. This seems to drink best on day 1. Gets a little spicier as time goes on. Skipped day 2, day 4 was less spicy than day 3. Still was good. I'd probably buy again to drink this year if I saw it.
